How do I make a reservation?

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation of reservations is allowed with 72-hour notice prior to the first night’s stay.
Are there any special rates or packages available?
The Nines offers many special packages to make your trip memorable. Visit our offers page to see the options and begin your booking process.
Where do we check in?
Building access is available through Morrison St. where you will be greeted by our Bell and Valet teams. Proceed to the opulent lobby located on the 8th floor to find the front desk and check-in to your room.
When is check-In and check-Out:
Check-in is at 4PM and check-out is at 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out are available based on occupancy and may incur additional costs.
Is early check-in or late check-out possible?
Early check-in is available based on occupancy but may be extended complimentary when possible.
Late checkout may be purchased for an additional $100. Late checkout will allow guests to checkout between 2PM – 4PM. Should a room be needed later than 4PM, a full room night rate may apply.
Can I store my luggage if I arrive before check-in or need to leave after check-out?
Yes. We are happy to hold your luggage for you at our front desk located on the 8th floor or at our bell desk located on the lower level.
What types of rooms/suites are available?
The Nines proudly offers standard king bed and double queen bed room options. Additionally, we feature 31 suites ranging from studio suites to our two presidential style suites known as The Nines Suite and The Meier & Frank Suite. Visit our rooms page to learn more about these room types.
Are there accessible rooms for guests with disabilities?
ADA accommodations are available upon booking. These rooms feature lowered bed frames for easier access. They also feature showers with direct access from the floor.
Do rooms have a view?
The Nines provides rooms with two different views. Our “Deluxe Rooms” feature a view of our beautiful atrium that sits above The Nines Living Room and Urban Farmer Steakhouse. Meanwhile, our “City View” rooms offer views of downtown Portland.

What dining options are available on-site?
The Nines features two renowned restaurants that are fan favorites for both locals and travelers alike.
Urban Farmer Steakhouse – Located on the 8th floor, Urban Farmer is the epitome of farm-to-table. Working with local farmers and ranchers, the menu is sourced from those located in the Pacific Northwest.
Departure Restaurant + Lounge – An experience like none other, Departure offers breathtaking views of the city from the roof of the iconic Meier & Frank building. The Pan-Asian menu and modern design make this restaurant the place to see and be seen in Portland.
Is there a fitness center or spa?
Our fitness center is located on the 7th floor of the hotel and features a variety of free weights, weight machines, and cardio equipment including Peloton bikes, Precor Elliptical and much more.
The Nines is proud to partner with Knot Springs for spa services. A short ride away in our BMW courtesy car, Knots Springs offers a variety of services that can be found on their website. Book with our Concierge to get the best pricing and priority booking.
Do you offer Wi-Fi?
We proudly offer broadband Wi-Fi to all guests at no additional charge.
How do you suggest arriving at the Nines from PDX Airport?
There are several excellent ways to reach the airport from the Nines. Popular options include a taxi, the MAX light rail train, Uber/Lyft, or a town car service arranged through our Concierge Team.
Do you offer parking?
We do not have parking available on-site. We do offer valet services at an additional cost, or street and garage parking may be found on Alder Street.
Do you offer shuttle service?
A BMW courtesy car is available to all guests on a first come first served basis. For more information on this amenity, visit the Hotel Amenities page.
Is there coffee service in the morning?
Each room is equipped with a complimentary Nespresso machine and caffeinated/decaffeinated pods. Additionally, coffee and espresso drinks may be purchased in Urban Farmer on the 8th floor starting at 7AM daily.
What is the smoking policy?
We are a non-smoking facility. Smoking and vaping are permitted outside the building at least 25 feet from any entrance or exit.
Is there a pet-friendly option?

Are there any age restrictions for guests?
The guest booking the room must be 18+ years of age at the time of check-in. Minor guests of the hotel must be accompanied by an adult.

Do you offer transportation to popular destinations?

What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards.
Are there any additional fees or taxes?
As a guest of The Nines, a $30 Destination Amenity fee will be added to each room night. With this guest guests receive a number of special offerings. Please visit the Destination Amenity page for a full list of offered amenities.
Can I use rewards points or discounts?
We are a proud member of the Marriott Bonvoy program! Points and discounts can be used/applied when booking through the Marriott Bonvoy portal.
Security and Safety:
We have a 24-hour on-site security team watching the building at all times. Additional security when traveling through the city can be reached through Portland Clean and Safe by calling 503-388-3888
What are the emergency procedures?
Each room in the hotel has emergency procedures listed on the back of the door. In the event of an emergency, a broadcast system will be used throughout the hotel to provide additional instructions.

Our front desk is staffed 24 hours each day with friendly team members looking to help you enjoy your Portland experience.
Group Bookings and Events:
We offer group bookings and events in our 6,750-square-foot event space. Featuring multiple meeting and breakout spaces, it is ideal for hosting multi-faceted events.
